ABOUT THE TEAM
Vincent De Paul Fisher is an undergraduate student at UC Berkeley and the Director of Concerts and Tailgates for UC Berkeley's Associated Students of the University of California. He started Hope Against Hope while spending two years in Paris, France as a high school student. Vincent is passionate about social justice and leveraging technology to improve the lives of underprivileged youth.
When he’s not working on Hope Against Hope or partnering with other nonprofit organizations, he enjoys writing poetry, working out, and dancing. He’s also passionate about traveling. A California native, Vincent is a proud citizen of the world who has lived in Europe, Africa, America, and hopes to experience Asia and the Caribbean. A summer in China is definitely on his radar and so is a summer in Jamaica. Vincent is fluent in English and French and is trying to learn Spanish.
Thibault Messeri is an undergraduate student at Northeastern University and the Vice President of Finance of the Northeastern Debate team. He joined Hope Against Hope to provide help to his friend, trying to make the world a marginally better place. He is passionate about supply chain and using public policy to better the lives of people.
When he isn't helping Hope Against Hope, he is debating wonky policy schemes, and compulsively cleaning his desk. He enjoys D&D, football, and skiing. Proud French citizen, eager learner, and trying to learn Japanese.
