Mattel Gives Gabonese Orphans the Gift of Play
MATTEL® became our first 2016 corporate benefactor for the country of Gabon last Christmas. In the midst of political tension and social turmoil in Gabon, Africa, Hope Against Hope partnered with MATTEL‘s CHRISTOPHER SINCLAIR, ROBERT GOODWIN, and the MATTEL CHILDREN'S FOUNDATION, to ensure that over a hundred Gabonese orphans would have a joyful Christmas. Mattel gave the gift of hope by donating over 300 toys to MICONE orphanage. Hope Against Hope and the children of Micone are grateful for their contribution!
Building a Better World with Delta
Shipping over 300 toys from California to Gabon, Africa would have been costly; Hope Against Hope could not afford it. So when DELTA AIR LINES® agreed to fly the toys donated by Mattel 7000 miles away, and that at no cost to us, we were extremely grateful. Thanks to Delta, we were able to fly to Gabon and deliver these toys to the Micone Orphanage in time for Christmas. Thank you Delta! We appreciate you!
